Operation: Paul Swartz

We want to show our gratitude to Paul Swartz for so many years of hard work and dedication to Roll Call of North Texas. His contributions gave us the honor to serve so many of our DFW Veterans and build so many friendships our Vets and Supporters need.

Paul's support and belief in our cause kept us going strong in the early years making sure Roll Call survived. We would not still be here without Paul.

In the early days of Roll Call, Paul, a Vietnam-era veteran, became, what Don Graves considered him as his “booking agent,” and the pair stayed extremely busy. In 2017 Don said to Lance Murray of the Fort Worth (Texas) Star-Telegram

“Over the last 16 months, we’ve gone to more than 150 events,” Swartz says. Graves said he has engagements scheduled into 2018.

Paul relentlessly drove Don to these engagements which the duo donated much of the money earned to Roll Call, estimated at $70,000.

With that in mind a good friend and gracious donor has announced the matching of funds donated up to $35k from December 8th until December 31st 2023!! That is another $70k that will keep Roll Call the ability to provide your Veteran Luncheons well into the future!
